Compassionate Approach

Our instructors are trained to understand how children learn and communicate. Using gentle strategies from behavioral science and child development, we adapt each lesson to match every swimmer’s comfort level, motivation, and sensory needs—creating calm, positive sessions that build trust and confidence.

Our Mission

At Play Strong, we want to make every child safer and more confident in the water through compassionate, individualized instruction. With experience supporting children of all abilities, we focus on safety, structure, and trust in every lesson. A study in American Journal of Public Health found that 91% of deaths in children with autism due to injury were from drowning, typically occurring after wandering or elopement. Our work exists to change that statistic by teaching critical water safety skills in a calm, supportive environment.
